Hair Inspirations
So, here are some pictures of hairstyles that I'm interested in. I do like the classic up-do look, but I like the down, curly, natural look as well.

More Flowers
So I'm thinking of going with brown dresses for the girls since plum seems too difficult to find. With that being said, I think I want a little more uuumph to the flowers. Perhaps this one. Still green, but with a little bit more color. Maybe not though.

I love green orchids. I think this is what I'm going to do...something like this.

Flower Inspirations - For my florist
Here are some flowers that I like:
I'm not sure what kind of flowers these are...peonies? In any regard, I like them because they're kind of big. Not "dinky". I think this is a good size for a centerpiece. I think I want more vibrant colors though.

Here's another snapshot of the same wedding.

I like this look too. It's three separate vases with all different flowers. I'm not sure if this is what my florist (hehe) was talking about, but I think this was one of her ideas. I like it.

Here's another snapshot of the same wedding.
So, I'm posting this picture not so much for the flowers but for the vase. Not sure if it goes with my theme...wait, do I even have a theme? I like it though.
Ok, so the flowers on the cake. This is something along the lines of what we talked about. Ribbons on cake and flowers scattered here and there. I don't think it looks bad with two different ribbon colors. I wouldn't get the little dot things on the cake though. I want my smooth and simple.

Bridesmaid Dresses
Hey ladies, so I'm going to start putting pictures styles and colors of dresses that I like. Let me know your thoughts.

Dress 1: I like the color of this dress. I know I keep saying purple/plum/eggplant but I'm looking more of a brighter purple color like this below. This dress is definitely cute. I don't even know where it's from though. I pulled it off another blog. I posted this up here more for color than style.

Dress 2: I like this one because it's somewhat of a similar look to my dress with the sweetheart neckline.

Ok that's it for now. More to come.

Wedding Colors
Flowers
Some inspirations of what flowers I would want. Because I'll be wearing white/ivory, I want my flowers to a darker color. Since my bridesmaids will be wearing something dark (dark purple/eggplant/plum color), I want their flowers to be lighter. So, I'm thinking of a combo of both. I love these colors. I believe these are mini calla lilies and tulips.

I also love the simple look of calla lilies. I like this one as well except without all the white orchids around it.

As for center pieces, I want something simple and small. Kinda like this...I like these colors but I want to incorporate the flowers (whichever I choose as the bouquets) into this type of center piece. The thing I have to found out from our caterer is how many tables we will have. I think it's 18 round tables, 1 sign-in table, two buffet tables and one bride and groom table. That leaves decorations for around 22 tables. I'll have to figure this out.

We also like this simple center piece with the candles and calla lilies and orchids. Maybe more flowers though.

So there's two potted areas (see pic below) that I have to fill. I don't know what those are going to look like. I'm thinking the same sort of theme as my bouquet and centerpieces but I wonder if that will be too boring.

For the boutonnieres, I want something simple once again. I was thinking of a white orchid with a dark purple center.

So the total number of flowers that I will need are the following:
- 1 bridal bouquet
- 4 bridesmaid bouquet
- 4 groomsmen boutonnieres
- 4 parent boutonnieres/corsages (no idea what that would look like)
- 2 sibling boutonnieres/corsages (no idea what that would look like)
- 11 small center pieces
- 2 large potted center pieces
- 2 buffet table flower decorations
- 1 sign-in table center piece
- Rose petals for aisle runner
